The beautiful part about New Year's Resolutions is that you get to be the dictator of exactly what you hope for it. I found myself only halfway done with my goals for 2020 on January 1st, but this didn't make me worry (as it would have last year). As I pursue this new year with high hopes and endeavors, I also have the mindset that things could change and new resolutions may be added.
I think New Year's Resolutions can sometimes be taken way too seriously. Instead of thinking of them as set in stone, remember why they were written out in the first place: you are a driven young individual who wants to grow and be the best version of yourself that you can be. For me, these resolutions were just another excuse to strive high for the stars! Let the new decade begin :)
