On my last day in Oregon, I did what any typical Oregonian would do-ride bright orange Niketown bikes in the trendy city, and go to the infamous Portland Store on 19th Ave. While riding bikes with some friends from Younglife and enjoying the breathtaking city view, I realized how much I was going to miss this place-the mountains, the people, the trees…even the rain. At the same time though, I felt a sense of peace with knowing that I was going to be at TCU tomorrow morning. Don’t get me wrong, fear and skepticism fluttered in my stomach at 100 mph; however I also felt an overwhelming giddiness in the unknown experiences I would be encountering in less than 24 hours! Fort Worth, I’m ready for ya! And always-go frogs!
